Baltic Sea Region Forum 2017

The 10th Baltic Sea Region Forum is organised at Turku School of Economics on 30 May 2017.

The theme of the Forum is "Global storms and the economic development in the Baltic Sea region".

In the Forum the growing global tensions and their ramifications in the Baltic Sea region will be discussed. The expert panels will address the topic from the viewpoints of security, free trade and foresight, for instance.

Among many other distinguished speakers, the opening address is delivered by the Deputy Secretary-General of the OECD Mari Kiviniemi. Two keynotes of the day will be by former Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius and Director General of the Confederation of Finnish Industries Jyri Häkämies.
