The state of the Finnish Archipelago Sea has not improved in the manner hoped for despite the fact that many resources have been targeted to decrease the load of nutrients. The results need to be improved.

You can participate in the protection work by making a donation to the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea. The accrued funds will be used to promote concrete measures and to increase public awareness in order to improve the state of the waters in the Finnish Archipelago Sea. You can choose a particular theme of our Action Plan that you would especially want to support. You will find more information about these measures and how they are proceeding on these pages.

Allocating your donation:
You can make a general donation to the protection work of the Archipelago Sea or you can allocate your donation to one of the themes of our action plan. In that case, write your choice in the message field of the payment:

THEME 1 (reducing nutrient loading from agriculture)
THEME 2 (reducing loading from waste waters)
THEME 3 (reducing negative effects of boating)
THEME 4 (supporting awareness and research)


The Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea is also looking forward to co-operation with enterprises and communities.
