Operation of the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea

The Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea was founded in November 2007 as a part of the Centrum Balticum Foundation. Its founders are:

Turku University of Applied Sciences
City of Turku Environmental Protection Office
Archipelago Research Institute, University of Turku
The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, Southwest Finland Regional Office
Åbo Akademi University

The Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea and its activities are supervised by the Administrative Committee, which in turn  presents projects to be supported to the Board of Directors, seeks new and innovative measures for the improvement of the state of the Archipelago Sea and promotes discussion on it.

The representative of the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea is Mr Harri Ekebom.
