Working together for the Achipelago Sea!


You can support the work of the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea in many ways. If you want to participate in our work, we can come up with a solution that fits Your needs. We need both funds and actions & services in the protection work. Here are a few examples of our co-operation projects.


Perennial co-operation partners:


TOK and SSO

Turku Co-op ja Suur-Seutu Co-op have signed an extensive, triennial agreement of co-operation with the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea.

Co-operation includes a generous donation as well as selling a 'Secchi -disc' in tens of outlets. In addition, 47 of TOK's outlets have fundraising boxes for can- and bottle receipts.


K-Citymarkets in Turku region

Four of Turku region's K-Citymarkets (Kupittaa, Ravattula, Länsikeskus and Skanssi) have made a generous donation for the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea. In addition, they have started a systematic collection of bottle recycling receipts for the Protection Fund in all four outlets. The profit of the first year of co-operation was approximately 15 000 euros!

K-Citymarket

Raisio Plc

Raisio Plc supports advising and informing farms on water protection measures both financially as well as by offering their expertise for the guidance work. This kind of action combines protection of water and the benefits of economic life in a natural way. This form of co-operation is very important to the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea.

Naantali Music Festival

Naantali Music Festival sells a special Archipelago Sea -ticket. A part of its profit will be directed to the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea. Naantali Music Festival is an important partner of the Protection Fund.

Sunborn Saga

The customers of Sunborn Saga's Naantali and Ruissalo Spas have a possibility to donate 1 euro or more in their room service bill. The donations are accounted directly to the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea.

Communication plays an important role in the Protection Fund's work. Advertising Agency Lahtinen & Mantere Saatchi & Saatchi is the Protection Fund's pro Bono -partner by designing brochures and other material as well as assisting with generating ideas for fundraising.

Bakery Salonen is participating in the protection work by donating 10 cents from each sold package of Saaristolaisnappi-bread for the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea.
