Who are behind BALEX?

BALEX is initiated by the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University and it operates under Centrum Balticum with academic partner institutions throughout the region.

BALEX’s work is coordinated by Coordinator Saara Ilvessalo. BALEX’s research work is coordinated by Research Coordinator Henrik Ringbom.

BALEX is guided by a joint Steering Group of the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University, and an Advisory Board consisting of prominent legal experts and decision-makers from the Baltic Sea region.
