Atlantistic Security Policy -courses


Centrum Balticum -center organizes Atlantistic Security Policy -courses for journalists, in co-operation with the Atlantic Council of Finland.

Security policy discussion in Finland has come into a phase where media's role in bringing up topics is constantly increasing. The Atlantic framework - European Union, The United States and NATO -  is an important framework for these national discussions. The Atlantic Security Policy -courses' objective is to  explain the history and the possible futures of Atlantic relations.

The first course was organised on 3.-5.12.2008 in Helsinki.
As continuation there was also an excursion to Brussels on 17. - 19.12.2008.
