Organisation of Centrum Balticum


Centrum Balticum is a national think-tank. Founded in 2007, Centrum Balticum is maintained by a foundation supported by the Finnish west-coast cities of Turku, Rauma, Uusikaupunki, Pori and Vaasa, as well as by the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku School of Economics, and the Regional Council of Southwest Finland.


As of 1st January 2007, Dr Esko Antola, holder of the Jean Monnet Chair at the University of Turku, was nominated as the Director of the Centre.
