The countries of the Baltic Sea region face similar challenges and opportunities. By joint efforts they are better able to find solutions, which benefit all countries. Lately, the developments in world politics have increased insecurity in the Baltic Sea region, which is why dialogue and finding common solutions is ever more important.
The international high-level Advisory Board serves as a future-oriented and
cross-sectoral platform for discussion and visions. It consists of
over 30 experts of different fields and from all the Baltic Sea region
countries. It convened for the first time in May 2016. In the future it plans to convene every other year.
